Anchor Hocking made this very pretty egg plate in several colors. The most common one is clear glass -- and many people think it is from the Depression Era, but actually it's from the 1950's and later. There is no official name for this pattern. Anchor Hocking sold it as "Occasional" and "Gift" pieces and never named the pattern. The first egg plate shown here is Anchor Hocking's Fire King Turquoise color.
